The Qingcheng School is the orthodox lineage of Chinese Taoism, with its ancestral temple located in the sacred Taoist site of Qingcheng Mountain. Its history is long and its traditions have been passed down for millennia. The school reveres Ningfeng Zhenjun (Qingcheng Zhangren) as its founding patriarch, inheriting the teachings of the Yellow Emperor and upholding the core principles of "following the natural way and maintaining the balance of Yin and Yang." It specializes in the art of harmonizing energy fields, protecting homes, and bringing blessings to the world.
During the late Tang Dynasty, Celestial Master Du Guangting resided at Mount Qingcheng, where he devoted himself to compiling the Taoist canon and promoting the orthodox teachings. He was bestowed the title of "True Celestial Master" by imperial decree, perfected the Qingcheng School's cultivation and propagation system, and laid the foundation for the orthodox lineage of the school.
For thousands of years, the Qingcheng School has always adhered to the teachings of its founders, avoiding superficiality and heterodox doctrines, upholding the true nature of Taoism, and passing on the essence of Taoism through orthodox ancient methods. It is an orthodox Taoist lineage with a clear lineage and orderly transmission.
Dharma Assembly for Blessing
Taoist rituals and ceremonies are religious ceremonies established by Taoism for believers to pray for blessings, eliminate disasters, and deliver the souls of the deceased. Through rituals such as chanting scriptures, walking the steps of the Big Dipper, and pinching the fingers, they communicate with the gods and achieve "the interaction between heaven and man".
